Beautiful pool area and friendly staff, especially Omar who gave great local tips! However, cleanliness in our room was subpar upon arrival. Be mindful of the breakfast prices, as options are limited. For families, bringing your own snacks to enjoy poolside could enhance your stay.

The Royal Sonesta San Juan features beautiful décor with vibrant colors and elegant furniture, making the lobby feel incredibly welcoming. The accessible paths allowed for easy mobility, and I enjoyed the stunning views from my ocean view room.

More seating options would enhance comfort in common areas.

Relaxing getaway with great food!

Had a lovely stay for 3 nights. The room was super comfy, and the breakfast buffet hit the spot—really tasty! Staff were super chill and helpful. The only bummer was that after 9 PM, things get kinda quiet, not ideal for party people. But if you're looking to chill, it’s perfect.

The hotel grounds are beautiful, framed by a stunning beach, with exceptional staff who provide friendly service. However, the room itself was a bit outdated and left much to be desired. Additionally, be cautious with charges for extra amenities, including the high-priced breakfast buffet, which did not meet expectations. Despite these shortcomings, the welcoming team, especially the concierge, made a difference during our stay.

The Royal Sonesta San Juan offered an amazing beach right at the back of the pool area, and the pool itself was spacious with plenty of loungers. I loved the fresh breakfast selection that catered to various dietary needs, making it a great start to the day.

I loved being just a few steps from Hobie Beach, perfect for sunbathing and enjoying the ocean. The area felt very safe and was close to local amenities like a CVS and fantastic dining options, making it easy to grab an affordable meal and enjoy a relaxing evening without traveling far.
